Here is one of the more interesting instruments Gibson produced over the years. Another treasure from the Chic Edward’s collection. The Chet Atkins model was produced between 1987 and 2005. Many players, including Chet himself and Dave Mathews have used this guitar onstage.
Year: Unknown. The stamped serial #, 00641592, dates to the year 1976. But, as Gibson did not make these until 1987, that date is suspect.
Condition: Used. Mild fret wear, a few digs and scratches, wear on the gold plating, no cracks; the neck is straight, the electronics work well. The case is original with some wear.
